From 2001-4 Mel has been serving on the council of The British Voice Association. She has an MA in Voice Studies from Central School of Speech and Drama in London (as well as an MA in Performing Arts from Middlesex University).

She runs voice classes at the Actors Centre, London from time to time and works with people one-to-one from her home base. (melchurcher@hotmail.com)
